Eleven of these 14 cases of active TB in refugees were actually diagnosed in pre-immigration exams overseas before their arrival in Minnesota – a remarkable situation that would have either violated U.S. law or required the granting of a waiver by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) office within the Department of Homeland Security, since active TB is a “Class A” health risk which is prohibited entry to the U.S. without such a waiver.

I feel sorry for the general working public who gets TB and who is stuck with Obamacare. THATS going to be expensive.

Sounds like the employee who let them in knowing that should be jailed.

TB is rare here. Some places like the former Soviet Union, nearly everyone has exposure. It could easily get spread here. One of the treatments for exposure is taking medicine every day for a year.

One could almost think that events such as these are orchestrated with the intention of taking us down by whatever means available.

How is this possible? The leftists on here and elsewhere assured us that the vetting was substantial.

Someone will likely suggest this is a "one-off."

does it matter? We have thousands upon thousands coming here "undocumented" every year, likely bringing diseases we try to control into our country. Fixing the issue with the ones we actually do know about seems about like fixing one out of ten holes in a dike but leaving the other nine. You're still going to get flooded.
