Basketball announced attendance for the last three years follows:

2014-15 16,121 (10th in nation)
2015-16 13,915 (21st in nation)
2016-17 12,028 (30th in nation)

Tubby's hire failed to arrest the attendance downward trend and it appears last season and prospects for next season under Tubby has convinced some good Tiger fan posters here to not renew or buy season tickets.

I believe announced attendance will dip again next season under Tubby.

If you share my belief, then what is your guess on average announced attendance next season?

I think it's a little early to predict, all depends on the on floor product. Hopefully we can start to climb back to the 15-16 range with some wins.

about midway through the year it was starting to pick up last year. It did not finish off particularly strong though. I hope we can average 10,000 announced? I expect around 5000 actual unless they start out like gang busters.

Unless a new ticketing and pricing plan is rolled out with aggressive marketing, I honestly feel the season ticket base will decrease again. Therefore:
- Announced attendance between the 10-11K range
- Turnstile count is going to be the issue. Hitting the 6K turnstile per game may honestly be a challenge this season.

Depends on how season ticket sale go. I think 11k is probably the ceiling unless we go on a long winning streak to start the year.

I think a losing spell like the one under Tubby management in the latter part of last season will depress attendance.

As for turnstile count, might have been last year they were giving away tickets to help with the count, along with the suggestion that we turn the stile and then leave if we couldn't stay to watch.

I'm not whining. Just clenching my guts a lil at the thought of being begged to turn the stile for Tiger BB.
