The Tom Pence HHS has delayed calorie rules that carried criminal penalties for errant pepperonis. The FDA announced that a regulation, included in the original Obamacare bill, that would have required pizza parlors to post calorie counts for every slice has been shelved. It had been previously delayed since it would have required display of the calorie counts of up to 34 million topping variations. Yep, that one made a lot of sense.

Can't wait for the resident progs to post that Republicans want to fatten and ultimately kill children.

They spend their time on this because it really doesn't involve having to make any "hard" choices and standing up and being counted for anything that matters - or makes headlines.

That way, come re-election time, they cherry pick what they want to push to the front as legislative work they have done.

They don't want to have any conviction about anything until it's been ran by a focus group........generally a gaggle of eunuchs populating the halls of Congress.
