There's some surprising yes GOP votes. Trey Gowdy. Darrell Issa. Bill Huizenga.

Pretty much every Republican who voted yes to this is either a water carrier for the establishment or totally worthless on economics.

This is on Ryan and McConnell. They could have passed the 13 or 14 individual budget bills. For the 7th time in the nation's history, we had no budget. The first 2 times were courtesy of Obama, Reid and Pelosi. The next 4 were Obama, Reid and Boehner. McConnell and Ryan got one passed, but Obama, McConnell and Ryan failed last year. The House put off individual bills until the last minute.

If you pass the individual bills it dramatically reduces the leverage of the Senate minority. Will the Democrats shut down health and human services in order to send money to Planned Parenthood? As it is, they can shut everything down. Same thing with Homeland Security and the border wall.

If McConnell can't figure out a way to get some funding for a border wall with the Republicans in charge of all 3 branches, he needs to be removed.

I'm going to write my Senators and tell them to get their job done or go home.

Issa's district is trending Blue, and quickly. He barely held on 6 months ago and his seat is a toss-up for '18.

Overall, the budget is a fiscal disaster for the country and a political disaster for the GOP. Easy to see why the Dems are taking so many victory laps on this.
