Rice Football games on TV ?
Normally how many Rice football games are you able to view on TV ?
I know several might not be televised but is there a conference
streaming technology set up ? My son is in the class of 2017 and I was wondering how many road games I might be able to view ?

They're pretty much all viewable in one way or another; what varies from game to game is the platform and the effort/expense required to view the game live depending on one's TV/internet connection (cable, satellite, cord cutter, etc.).
I live in Illinois and I have a DirecTV package that includes the ESPN channels and CBS Sports Network, which have part of CUSA's rights. For the fall months, I shell out the extra $12 a month for the sports pack that includes all the other regional channels around the country (and the Longhorn Network, SEC Network, etc.) along with beIN Sports which is another CUSA rights holder (see here). I would estimate that last year 75% or more of the games were available through one of those outlets. Of the few that don't make it on TV, they might be available on ESPN3.com, which basically is free to anyone that has a cable or satellite package that includes ESPN. Any that are left would likely be relegated to, but nevertheless still available on, a streaming PPV basis which can usually be gotten to through riceowls.com, but I personally draw the line at paying an additional $10 or whatever per game.

If you live in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City, Philadelphia or the San Francisco Bay Area, you can get all of the TV channels via YouTube TV for $35/mo. This year, you need to be sure to have ESPN/2/U and CBS Sports Network. The other games will be on CUSA.TV.
