TCU was in the top 25 a few weeks ago but looking at their results and the common opponents we had as well, it appears to be a pretty even match-up. It's kind of funny we have to go out to California and still get a local opponent for the most part.

I'm in Palo Alto. There's no way I could miss it. Do we need tickets?

Yes. Cost is $8/day for adults, $5/seniors, youths (aged 2-17) & students. All seats are general admission and good for the entire day's matches.

I'll get mine walkup, but you can buy in advance here.

Note that Stanford is also hosting on the men's side, too ... so here's the Taube Stadium weekend schedule:

Friday: 11 a.m. -- Men/Michigan vs. Valparaiso
2 p.m. -- Men/Stanford vs. Idaho

Saturday: 10 a.m. -- Women/Rice v. TCU
1 p.m. -- Women/Stanford v. Idaho
4 p.m. -- Men's final

Sunday: 1 p.m. Women's final

Note that Stanford is also hosting on the men's side, too ... so here's the Taubes Stadium weekend schedule:

Friday: 11 a.m. -- Men/Michigan vs. Valparaiso
2 p.m. -- Men/Stanford vs. Idaho

Saturday: 10 a.m. -- Women/Rice v. TCU
1 p.m. -- Women/Stanford v. Idaho
4 p.m. -- Men's final

Sunday: 1 p.m. Women's final

You'll enjoy this -- great place to watch tennis. I was there in 2006 when Stanford hosted the men's and women's championships, and Rice had players competing in the singles and doubles competitions (which are the week after the team championship).

#61 Tommy Bennett and David Warren (automatic qualification) will compete in doubles championships. http://www.ncaa.com/news/tennis-men/arti...nd-doubles

Women didn't have anyone qualify.

Absolutely. I watched Rice's 2013 NCAA matches there.
