Very much so, Rob... the Murdoch kids are much more left-of-center than Ailes...

I do think Ailes will bring in Shine for this new network he supposedly wants to start up (and I believe he's got the funding for it, although Tom seems to believe otherwise)... but I have no idea who they're gonna push for a major role in it.

Not without a whole lot of cash to make it happen. That won't be easy.
Ailes showed just how much money is in that segment. He showed that segment can win ratings year after year after year.

If Fox abandons the space then one of the other established players will fill that vacuum as soon as they get a leader/owner who cares more about winning than about a pet agenda.

Thats a lot of years of winning and boatloads of cash. Somebody WILL try to get it.

Capital won't be an issue if you have OReilly Hannity Cavuto on air and Ailes and Shine in Management. There will be a line to be the first to loan them $

There will be lots of people leaving Fox at the first opportunity with this new management. People are totally loyal to Ailes.

Ailes is pretty darn old. Do we know for sure he isn't looking for the nearest boat slip or golf course?

A start-up network seems like a lot of work.

But it provides him the opportunity to give the Finger to the Murdoch kids that ran him out of Fox.
