Bowling Green at Middle Tennessee -Two of the better programs in each conference. This will help cement C-USA ahead of the MAC.

Ball State at WKU

Week 5
South Alabama at Louisiana Tech
Marshall at Cincinnati -Cincy should be bad. A good win over the AAC.
Rice at Pittsburgh
UTEP at Army

Week 6
Army at Rice

Week 7
Tulane at FIU -Picked based on home field advantage.

Week 10
Southern Miss at Tennessee
WKU at Vanderbilt -I think WKU beats Vandy this season.

Week 12
Army at North Texas -Round 3 revenge.
UAB at Florida

How do you think it goes down?

Rice beating Stanford in week one would be a bigger shock than UTSA over Houston I think. Whether in Sydney, Houston, or Palo Alto.

My apologies. I didn't intend to leave the Southern at Southern Miss game unresolved. I believe USM will win it easily.

As for the North Texas at SMU game, right now I think it is a toss-up, so I left it for other to debate. After I see North Texas in the fall, I will probably make a prediction.

Miami @ Marshall will be a toss up and I wouldn't be surprised to see Miami as the favorite

I thought that one looked close too. I picked Marshall based on having the home field advantage.

Like you stated in your post... it will be FIU's first home game under Butch Davis. You got to give the guy some time to develop the team's chemistry. Plus, Alcorn State played for the SWAC championship last season. Don't get me wrong, I really hope you win. I just think Davis will need some time to get the FIU program hitting on at least the majority of its' cylinders.

I think LA Tech will beat Miss State in Ruston in week 2, and has a very good chance to beat South Carolina on the road in week 4.
