I hope they don't end up wearing some of the bizarre crap I've seen come out of Adidas. Just something traditional and classy please? With some throwbacks? Maybe once in a while try something different?

I think Adidas has turned a corner with their newer uniform designs. At the very least, they've simplified the designs and not gone too crazy with the base uniforms in the past couple years. I really liked Louisville & Miami's recent uniforms (especially Miami's green unis), and they did a good job with the new Rutgers uniforms after their switch from Nike.

I think this is a big positive for Georgia Tech. I wouldn't be shocked if there's a subtle honeycomb pattern in the base design, since they've done some texturing in their recent designs that looks good. For a wider look at their shift from pretty awful designs to pretty good, I'd recommend checking out this article from SBNation:

BTW, I hate any jersey with pho-houndstooth crap in it. I don't like the real Bear Bryant why the hell would I like a jersey that looks like his shirt got involved in a horrible laundering incident at a dye plant?

Is that houndstooth? I thought it was a concertina wire pattern. Though I guess that would be more appropriate for a Louisville uniform.

The only thing I can figure is it was military appreciation and they went with a tribute to WWI with a "dazzle ship" design.
