Yes, NG, a handful of other schools have done it (even Tulane for a couple of years), but all but the aforementioned 4 decided it was dumb and moved on.

I'm not totally opposed to the word mark. Put it in the end zone. Put it on the front of the jersey above the number. Just don't put it on the dadgum helmet. It looks D3, and you can't even read it anyway from the near hash to the 1st row. We may as well just have a gold (and at times also white) blob as the decal for as well as a person can make it out 3/4ths of the time, even on TV.

I agree...I'd like to see an alternate helmet or two....I'll see what I can do...I'll speak with Gilbert about these things.

I always liked the Gold top Black bottoms with Fedora. I may have always used those on NCAA 09.

...I heard through the TTT Club they have a funky two toned helmet they want to introduce as an alternate.....a first of it's kind with one side black and the other yellow...I'm sure there will be all sorts of bitchin about it if and when they adopt it.
