CUSA should get a couple today.

Larry Ogunjobi will be Charlotte's first draft pick today.

I thought the WKU offensive lineman Lamp would go in the first round. He should be an early second round pick. He is a great player.

Shocked Lamp did not go First Round, he was Kiper's Best Player available for awhile last night.....Has to be an early pick tonight...

All the late trades screwed Lamp out of a first first pick

Pat Mahomes may very well have been the best QB I ever saw play my dawgs. We had no answer to him and still don't. Evidently is wasn't just us that saw it in him.

I hope he goes today, and am excited for you Charlotte fans to hear a player's name from your university called and talked about amongst the NFL draftees. What I have learned watching and waiting for Southern Miss players to be drafted over the years is that sometimes a team will see something in a player that nobody else does and take them a little early, sometimes they will go right where predicted, and sometimes a rumor or mistaken idea will grab hold and cause a player to drop a few rounds or even to free agency.

RE: NFL Draft by conference : 1st round edition
I look for CUSA to get between 2-7 tonight.

I think Lamp is the only lock to go tonight with Henderson, Ta. Taylor, and Ogunjobi all possible depending how the night shapes up. Tr. Taylor, Woods, and Smith are not out of the question either with 3rd-5th round grades respectively. Hopefully everyone ends up in good situations and tonight is a good night. I'd rather see a guy go later to the right fit vs wasting away prime years in a bad system or situation and it hampering their future and/or earning potential in the league.

As long as Larry isn't a Saint, Falcon, Buc, or Cowboy, I'll be pretty happy.

I don't think we'll be drafting him but if we did, you'd know how I feel about Vernon Butler being a Panther...And Paul Milsap being an Atlanta Hawk.

Much better than him being a Houston Rocket IMO.

I think Larry going to ATL, TB, or DAL would all be great fits honestly. I know that doesn't sit well with you being a Panthers fan, but for the longevity and prosperity of his career those would be great places for him to land.

I don't have a problem with Houston or their teams. I figure a Hawks fan is a Falcons fan.

I despise the Failcons, but utterly loathe the Rockets (Jazz turned Pelicans fan) and Astros (Rangers and Redbirds fan). That being said, I would be proud as could be to see a former Bulldog donning their uniforms and realizing their dreams, especially if it was a viable fit.

wish I would've now....that ol' woulda/coulda/shoulda 03-wink

the NoFunLeague is starving for QBs that have a quick decision making clue....

Hoping our players avoid the Falcons, Panthers, Bucs, Cowboys, or Browns myself. But I'd take that over undrafted of course! If the Saints took a Bulldog I'd be ecstatic.

Somewhat surprised he was still available that late. Kiper and McShay had him pretty high up there. Based on the Chargers message board they are pretty stoked about picking up Forrest.

I'm sure Rivers is stoked too
