As a Lions fan, I love what I've read and seen so far, but I would suggest holding off on popping the champagne based on preseason. Let's see what happens from Week 1 on.

Got it. So Bronco fans pop champagne on draft day discounting other opinions and the rest of us should wait till their career is complete. My bad, thank you.

If you want to compare what each receiver did in their college career, no expert in the country would tell you that Golladay is on par with Davis.
Do you think Terrell was some stud QB? He was an excellent game manager and a smart, efficient QB...but there's a reason he's not on an NFL roster right now. Didn't even make it to a training camp.
Golladay's good, Davis is also good. But Davis has NCAA records under his belt. And collegiate accomplishments are all we have to go on right now.
And don't get salty with me, because I've been singing Golladay's praises since the Lions drafted him. I'm excited for what he will do in the Lions offense.

So I say he looks great so far, but let's wait until the regular season starts...and THAT's the conclusion you jump to?
You do realize exhibition games are nothing more than glorified practices, right? Where the starters play rarely (if at all)?

Right. No worries, wishing Davis a quick recovery and success. My only point is sometimes it doesn't take stats to recognize potential. Take it from someone who knows what they're talking about.
Nothing like goofball fans of a college team dismissing a player on THEIR favorite pro team b/c they don't like where he played college ball. Way too many chicks on this board...sorry.

Fair enough. Again, as a Lions fan, I hope he does great. Hopefully, both guys tear it up at the NFL level.
In the meantime, what's so bad about saying that neither guy has proven anything yet (without even bringing college allegiance into it)?
Assuming the answer is, nothing (my point all along), someone comes off looking wayyy oversensitive here. Hint: it's not myself, Colin, or Big Redd.

Terrell was way better than the people Golladay had throwing to him.

Are you going to be okay?
I am doing pretty good..thanks for asking. Are you going to be OK if Corey Davis flops? You seem pretty emotional on the topic.

I would think Rush will end up on someones Practice Squad at the very least. The Cowboys needs to ask whether they want a veteran who has likely hit his ceiling in Moore, or a rookie who has looked decent against poor opposition.
I'm obviously a CMU fan, I always though Rush lacked an NFL arm. But the way the game is today, a smart QB who gets the ball into the hands of talented player can go a long way.

Chad Pennington made a decent living that way, even though many thought he just didn't have the NFL arm.
Toledo draft picks Kareem Hunt and treyvon hester have been having great camps so far. Michael Roberts has been up n down for the Lions. Former recent Rockets who spent some time on practice squads last year, rb David Fluellen, wrs Bernard Reedy and Alonzo Russell are fighting for roster spots. Fluellen and Reedy have been very good in preseason games so far. UFA Storm Norton is battling to stick as an OT w the Lions and several other former rockets are established vets in the league.

He threw 2 TDs yesterday, a short pass but still he is making his case as a NFL QB.
