Does anyone actually read these four and five paragraph argument posts between a handful of posters?

I do. In fact, I look for the threads in which we get quote upon quote upon quote upon quote, then try to figure out which poster said one thing and which poster responded. Love that!

Mercy. Most of the time I see certain posters and I skip right over it. The three paragraphs could be summarized as this---> I hate that Tubby is our coach. He sucks at recruiting and we will be terrible next season.
