NFL Draft Thread - AAC Players Ready To Go Early
The AAC has consistently produced top-level NFL talent. A total of eight prospects from the conference have been selected in the first round of the NFL Draft over the past three years. William Jackson III out of Houston and Paxton Lynch from Memphis are the latest to join that group.
Will the AAC be able to extend that streak of multiple first-round picks to four years in-a-row in 2017?
Here are the leading contenders.

RE: NFL Draft Thread - AAC Players Ready To Go Early
that list is old and you can tell its pre-proday as it doesnt include brandon

for houston

tyus bowser OLB- late first/early second
howard wilson cb- 4-5rd
brandon wilson cb/rb -4th -6th round
steven taylor olb- 6th-udfa
greg ward wr- 6th-udfa

others likely udfa but a decent shot at 7th rd pick-
cam malvueax DE
bj singleton DT (was considered a guaranteed pick last year till ed came and took his spot)

For USF

RB Marlon Mack- Would be surprised if he went in the 2nd round. Hearing more 3rd or 4th round range due to the RB class being stacked.
WR Rodney Adams- His ceiling is 6th round but more likely 7th round or priority free agent.
OL Kofi Amichia- Has worked out for a few teams. Might get grabbed in the later rounds as a project center but most likely priority free agent.

You are correct. Brandon Wilson is my favorite player in this draft.

Reddick and Dawkins will both be drafted, and could both go in the 1st.
Jahad Thomas, PJ Walker, and Nate Hairston all have a shot to be drafted late, with Hairston the most likely.
Romond Deloatch should get a camp invite, as he's pretty raw as a DE, but showed flashes there in a part time role.

All these WRs taken may help Zay Jones get chosen sooner than later.

1 down (Reddick at 13th) and 1 to go! Time for Dawkins to get up on that stage!

Go Owls!!

Nahh.. Regardless of having less #1s, this is probably one of the deeper classes. At least 4 guys could have gotten into Round 1.
Extremely proud of Haason representing Temple in Philly. Every year of the AAC there's been a 1st rounder. There's been a 4 season string of multiple first rounders... broken this year by just 1.
Tomorrow should see multiple AAC players taken early.
It's been a strange draft with the early run on QBs. There are simply a lot of talented guys. Reddick was one of the first defensive players off the board.
