Ace needs to get some of his logo printed on hats and shirts .. Would be a strong seller around here.

I like the original version. It used to be painted on a bridge over US-49. The edges on the horizontal lines aren't clipped off in that version.

When did it die? Are they going to finally put the new eagle head on the helmet this year?

I actually have a cap with that original logo on it in my closet right now. Feel free to make an offer.

Bower had those caps specially made that year, in fact. IIRC, it was because the sideline caps The Game provided that season had "Mississippi" spelled out in full on them, and he didn't like it because he really wanted to push the "Southern Miss" moniker.
