USF has a 'nothing sandwich' schedule. Can you just imagine the butt hurt if they go undefeated and lose out on the access bowl slot to a team from another conference?

If they lose a game, their season is finished.

Only way USF goes to the access bowl is if they go undefeated, and no one else in the G5 does.

completely disagree. Losing on the road to UCF or falling at home to Houston would not cost USF the access bowl IMHO.

With a OOC schedule of wins over @San Jose State, Illinois, Stony Brook and UMass? And a conference road schedule that has @ ECU, @ UCF, @ Tulane, @ UConn? And no Navy or Memphis? What a crap sandwich. They play three teams out of 11 (plus one FCS) with a winning record last year. All of them at home, and two of them have new coaches.

yep. 11 Ws will get them in as I don't see there being 12 win Houston or WMU to get in their way.

Guess Charlie Strong can't even screw that up.

I have to disagree in that Strong had 11 and 12 win seasons at Louisville. He's shown if you give him a team that's primed and ready to go, he can rack up Ws (USF looks primed and ready for a run)...moreover, if he can win 5-6 games per year at Texas and 37 games in four seasons at Louisville...he can win enough to keep USF fans happy.

I think USF made good hires with Charlie Strong and Brian Gregory.

Texas had 8,9,8 wins and in three years before he had 6,5,5 in the Big12. I don't know what happened but I think he isnbettwr suited for smaller program. He just didn't make any progress at Texas and actually made it worse.
Like Skip Holtz I guess he went to USF bigger school and now doing well at LTz

I will have to see what he does at USF. What I saw Texas was trash.

They are doing a particularly bad job this year. ASU is going to be a dumpster fire of epic proportions this year.
