RE: Rough day for ESPN
Good example of ESPN filler that most could care less about: sitting in barbershop (i never watch these talking head idiots at home) and ESPN spent 5+ minutes of interview with an MLB player discussing his hair cut...his FREAKING HAIR CUT.........wtf does that have to do with sports and who cares what designs these uneducated millionaires cut into their ego inflated narcissistic heads?

I remember the early days of ESPN, when they would show racket ball, ping pong (I mean table tennis), bowling and Australian rules football. At least those were sporting events.

Yea I'd rather watch that stuff than the drivel they try to pass off as analysis.

The biggest difference is that you need ESPN to be part of your cable/ Sat package or pay for an ESPN account. Twitter is available to anyone with internet access.

I still have ~99-01 childhood memories of passing summer weekday afternoons watching Pro Beach Hockey.

ESPN has been so soulless for 10+ years now that I'll never watch unless it's a live game. 15 years ago, I could never turn the channel off.
