Military botches release of video seized in Yemen raid
The US military is scrambling to explain an embarrassing mix-up after it released video obtained from raid in Yemen that turned out to have already been published online.
A military spokesman acknowledged it was released without having been thoroughly analyzed.
The video was meant to demonstrate the value of the weekend raid whose stated aim was to recover key intelligence about al Qaeda. But the footage released Friday morning actually consisted of video that was previously available to the public.

Yep, that's one of my favs along with BOHICA, another military slang term.

The military screwed up but only because they were attempting to cover up the fact that Trump decided to do the Yemen raid over dinner.

It cost the life of a soldier.
Shameful.
Versus the lives sacrificed by Killary in Benghazi? Hmm, interesting. Why isn't there any outrage by the Dims over that one?

When I have I ever said that Benghazi never happened? That is an absolute alternative fact and should be a violation of the AUP.

What the hell is an alternative fact?
You can't have an alternative fact. It's just a lie. No need to create more words.

I guess you haven't been paying attention.
In Trump's America, there is no longer any such thing as a lie.

Only time I hear if it is when I come on here. It's getting no traction in the main stream press. It does have me honestly worried though.
Hey Mach - you probably aren't old enough to remember the Russian "news" media called TASS. They were no more than the media arm of the Communist government and only reported stories showing the government as benevolent and suppressed any and all stories of the bad stuff that government did to their people.
The mainstream media you tout (ABC, NBC, CBS) has become basically like that in this country for the Democratic party and just like TASS - they try and pass themselves off a unbiased journalists. If they were honest - they'd wear cheerleader outfits with a big "D" on the front during their newscasts.
They pretty much looked the other way during Bush's war too. I don't think it's carrying water for one party as much as it is just lack of investigative reporting. They are either lazy or no longer have the resources.
This is about Hillary, not Bush... stick to the topic.
I'm on topic. The media doesn't do investigative reporting anymore so unless more stuff comes out on its own, they are simply going to move on. Quit trying to make Benghazi happen. No one cares.
