Strongest position: whichever guard spot German plays, most likely point guard

Weakest position: other guard spot (SG probably) but could go big with Pauga

Other wing spot (Armstead's spot) should be pretty good with Levi maybe moving over to the three (would be a matchup nightmare for many teams) and Tommy D (JUCO guy) looks like he can really score.

Feel pretty good about post play even losing Maric as Lacy should battle well inside, the 7 ft frosh will give good minutes and even Z, recovering from ACL will provide a big presence in the middle. Jalen is very experienced and is extending his shooting range-can give backup minutes at the 5 if needed.

Can't wait for Randy's take on the "small forward" position....

...And also Cageys thoughts on the OL.

Corner and safety are really strong.

We're thin at receiver. Some freshmen will need to step up.

Strengths: I agree that RB's will be a strength. We are already 4 or 5 deep with quality depth there. That's not even counting some talented freshmen coming in this summer.

I also think the DL looks pretty solid this year. Added 2 big JUCO DTs along with Lee and while Leroy still doesn't weigh a ton yet, definitely looks the part. Also encouraged by having Sanders and Corcoran at DE who are D1 P5 sized defensive ends and it sounds like Smith could be a factor as a rush guy from the Huskie position

If the DBs stay healthy that's going to be a strength too. Smalls is back and adding him with Lurry is huge. Also have depth there with Olootu, Isom and Embry. Safeties will also be solid with Allen and Mayes.

Love Bobby Jones and Johnson at OLB, if one of the young guys step up at MLB we will be solid there as well. I think the entire defense will be a strength this season barring injuries.

TE: lot of depth here. Wimann is the best receiving TE we've had in a long time. Brinkmann and Crawford are also young guys that look promising

Weaknesses: QB is obvious. Hopefully Childers emerges this summer.

WRs: for the first time in awhile we don't have a goto guy at receiver. Was hoping Tears would emerge but now that he's gone, looking for Wesley and Parchment to step in and perform. I'd also love to see DJ Brown take over TLL and Turner's spot as a slot and jet sweep Threat.

Right tackle and the interior oline will be questions marks this year too. We are going to be more run heavy this year and we need some maulers to step in and dominate for us to have the success we want to have. Especially with a young QB, nothing will be more important than a success run game to take pressure off the QB

So what's new at Tailback U?

It looks like that Huskie D is full of ball hawks.

If the Huskies are successful this year, it will be because the offense will wear their opponents down with a multi-headed running attack, and pass just enough to keep the defense honest. The Huskie D will shut down the big plays, and force their opponents to play Huskie ball.
