Sounds like we got clobbered, 20-6. Is MSU an NCAA team or a club team like WMU?

They're a club team. Only NCAA lacrosse B1G are OSU, MD, Rutgers, PSU and Michigan (who is 3? years old). Johns Hopkins is in like Notre Dame hockey.

MSU was a title IX victim and had to move down to club because there wasn't an equal number of women's sports programs in '97. I don't like MSU but it was a shame because they had good talent. The article below says some players transferred to really good programs. It felt liked some stayed to play club because they took it out on us in '97. I remember our goalie clearing the ball plenty of times because we were having trouble getting across midfield against them. Now the only varsity programs in MI are UofM & UDM.

I was trying to look up their last varsity season and came across this article. When I played HS Lax in '93 there were only about 20 teams in MI. We are now approaching 150 with a team down the street in Macomb Dakota HS just starting last month. http://wkar.org/post/curious-case-michig...e#stream/0

I turned it off when they went up 6-0 and we didn't have a shot in the 1st qtr. MSU probably had their attack switch sticks and positions with defense because it looked like it could've been much worse. Tough way for the seniors to finish
