ADHD does not mean stupid. Most ADHD patients have average or higher than average intelligence.
ADHD patients can have trouble focusing on one thing at one time as they tend to have periods where their minds are processing 4-5 different things simultaneously.
But even in that state they understand No.

I'm as adhd as they come.....hell, I could look for my keys for five minutes when they're in my hand.....I always chalked it up to being a former blonde and laughed it off all my life....
