When Conley got the Max money contract, I thought the Griz had lost their minds.

Boy was I wrong

Great game but it didn't force game 5. That was going to happen regardless.

A poster on the recruiting board just made a great comment about Game 6 and our upcoming recruiting visit.

Perfect opportunity to show off Memphis and the Forum

That's the atmosphere we have to get back. I'm concerned about the direction we are taking to get there but great game. BTW, DRose and Jimmy Sexton were sitting one row apart-Sexton right behind Derrick.

Andrew Harrison has caught a lot of crap this year, but he stepped up huge tonight!

2 clutch fts towards the end and that block that led to the Gasol and one was so clutch!!

RE: WOW
IMO - we are better than the Spurs. We just have to shake the old demons of losing to them so much in the past

Sad all the sports Twitters take the time tonight to rightfully praise Leonard over and over again, but then they lose and I don't think I saw a single tweet outside of Memphis re: Conley. They spend all their time mocking his contract.

We must be following different national NBA writers as I saw at least two reference Conley, contract and how well he has played. But this aging team is not better than the Spurs. Pop made maybe a grave error in game 3 by pulling all of his starters with less than a minute into 3rd quarter with maybe a 8 point deficit which is nothing. Followed NBA for 40 years and never seen a coach try to send a message in a playoff game. He is getting full of himself.

Concerned there are so many kids at Grizz playoff games with their parents. If they get attached, losing wont make any difference down the road. They will always be Grizz fans first. Which will hurt the Tigers. There is a battle going on now for this generation of kids/parents and I think the last few years and next year we have lost the battle.

Amazing all the Tarik Black threads and not a single comment on DRose back in town and who CHOOSES to be introduced on the road as from the University of Memphis. After the lawsuit, who would blame him if he chose Chicago as he does for home games.

RE: WOW
I know it never would've happened in a million years, but say theoretically Gasol plays 1 year of college ball in 2008-2009 and somehow ends up playing for Cal at Memphis. I know he's night and day different from his rookie year, but could you imagine rookie Gasol teamed up with Anderson, Dozier, Sallie, and Tyreke? Pretty good starting 5. Throw in Witherspoon, Mack, Kemp, and Taggart off the bench.

Oh yea, there is a thread about it now. I'm begging Derrick Rose to sign that contract, and to help this team out next year.04-cheers
