RIP Allan Holdsworth
You may not recognize his name, but you've probably enjoyed some music that he influenced.

I guess we're fated to watch the greats die one by one until it's our turn.

It's that season in our lives. It seems like I hear about a classmate or old friend passing almost daily these days. Funny thing is when I hear about it my first thought is "damn, so young". And then I remember, this aint the 20th century any more.

I guess I'm lucky to be the world's oldest teenager. But the hangovers get harder and harder to deal with.

RE: RIP Allan Holdsworth
Holdsworth was one of the most influential guitarists in Shawn Lane's shortened career. So much talent lost. They finally got to play together briefly at one of the NAMM shows when Shawn was Guitar Player's Guitarist of the Year.
