Question Game 1 vs. WKU
For WKU in the 2nd, walk, walk, sac bunt, walk, sac fly, walk, F8. Owls lucky to only be down 1-0.

Tristan evens the score at 1-1 in T3 with a solo shot.

Owls follow with walk, walk, bunt single, RBI single, K, RBI walk, sac fly, HBP, F8.

4-1 Owls going to B3.

RE: Game 1 vs. WKU
After a 6-3 and a single to start B3, Addison is in the pitch. Dane to 3B.

Ryno Chandler with a two-out, 2 RBI single to give the Owls a 6 - 1 lead heading to the bottom of the fifth inning. 6 runs on 5 hits for the good guys. Let's get a few more a put this one away early so we can conserve our bullpen (especially with Jefferies already taken out of the game and unavailable).

Tristan with his second HR of the game (#4 on the season), and an inside-the-parker as it hit the top of the wall in dead center and bounced back onto the field. 7 - 1 good guys in top of 7th. Addison Moss has retired 8 straight in relief of Myers.

Again the pitcher (Moss) is being left in too long. 1 RBI on three hits in B7 so far, 1 out.

Parthasarthy finally relieves Moss, but he inherits loaded bases with 2 outs.

Again, if Otto was ready to come in now, why in the world did he put Jackson in with the bases loaded? I just don't understand Wayne's pitching decisions all season long.

And Otto promptly ends the inning with a strikeout, but the damage was done and the lead cut to 7-4 Owls. Just shaking my head on the pitching decisions this year. Jackson is a stud, BUT...he thrown to 2 batters all season. We needed Otto in that bases loaded situation; not one batter later after two more runs had scored.

Parthasarthy would have had a cushion for some rusty pitching if he'd been put in before Moss walked the bases loaded. I don't see how getting that extra 3rd of an inning out of a gassed Moss was worth it.

Or, better yet, with a 7-1 lead, take Moss out after pitching a lights-out 3.2 innings, so that he could be available again on Sunday. But as usual, no one was even warming up in the pen until Addison gave up those first two hits in the inning. Just crazy game management, IMO.

Owls get one back on a solo shot by Myers. BTW, we now have 7 runs on only 7 hits (8 BBs, 2 HBPs)...but we've been struck out 10 times already.

A wild pitch, but Ryan thrown out at home. Apparently a "slip and slide" by Ryan, as they are in a downpour.
