Dukes played this past season against a 1st rounder (Trubisky, UNCheat), 2nd rounder (Kpassagnon, Villanova), and now a 3rd rounder (Rivers, Youngstown State).

They've been booing jayson Werth for years and years now when he's at the plate. He's been fueled by the hate, had many moments of dominance on them and it doesn't deter their fans in the slightest.
They're a stubborn bunch.

I used to dislike Boston sports fans. Then I visited Philly.

Philly fans once boo'd and threw snowballs at Santa Claus. It's in the DNA of a Philly fan.

Really hoping to see a JMU player drafted before this draft is done. It's been dragging along for a while with every team having to have someone "special" read out the selections. Let's get on with it. There are actual sports on.

RE: OT: NFL (and Dukes)
Hokie QB Evans and star WR Ford both declared early for the draft. Each still sitting there with no call late 6th round.

I was surprised at Evans leaving early. Didn't/don't think he was a legit NFL QB prospect. Ford I thought would be drafted by now.

I'm going to rant.

Can someone tell me why North Carolina A&T's RB Tarik Cohen is considered a better player than Khalid Abdullah?

Cohen played in the meac, one of the worst FCS conferences and they didn't even win that conference this year. They wasted an at-large letting AT into the field.
They play at UR, who we beat and Abdullah had a good game against (I think. Working from memory not stats).
UR dominated AT and I believe outside of their first drive, Cohen was a non-factor in that game. They play their first quality team for the season and fold like a lawn chair.
The meac defenses are terrible and Cohen's stats were more than padded by playing them.

Khalid almost single handedly lead us to an FCS championship. I'm not knocking on our other players, they contributed, but Khalid was the mvp this season along with Schor.

So again... Why is Cohen drafted first?

Backflip catching must be heavily weighted in the draft scores.

Khalid will be signed by the EOD tomorrow and will end up on someone's 53 Man roster.

RE: OT: NFL (and Dukes)
I'm not justifying why Cohen was drafted and Khalid was not here. Just adding some info since brought up.

For starters, should be no big surprise that Cohen was drafted. He was invited to the NFL Combine. Ran a 4.42 40 there.

Being labeled as a Darren Sproles clone. We'll see.

If he doesn't make it, he will be in line with plenty who have been drafted that hasn't. Just like the Hall of Fame is full of guys from small programs and some who were not drafted at all (hello, Khalid and others).

Khalid can now pick where he wants to go from the clubs who pursue him. I will not be surprised at all if he, Reynolds, and/or Kirsch advise before the evening is over where they will be signing.

Good to see. Not shocking based on his visit to the ATL facility in the past few months. Gotta think we will hear about a few more guys by the end of the weekend.

Agility, speed and quickness, guess the scouts chose pro potential over college productivity. Which happens quite often.
