There should be some type of floor for a Memphis Tigers basketball player.
We never know a player's ceiling until they are tested but we CAN recognize where they are now.

What was his star rating?
I haven't looked since he was recruited but I want to say he was like 80 something.
He was a good player.
Now a pro.
Same could be said for Will Barton.
Will the Thrill's rating?
You can either play or you can't.

Two things determine the floor. The recent ability to guarantee post season success, and whether we will pay players. We are at least two years away from NCAA post season without a homerun. I don't think Tubby will pay for a player? But I could be wrong.If he does cheat we will probably get caught, because we are Memphis.
There is no doubt in my mind that we would get caught if paying for players with this Coach Tubby business.
I would hate to think that we paid a few bucks for some JUCO kid when , if we are gonna play THAT game, we could have been swinging for the fence.
