I like Fizz as a coach. He needs players. IMO, our only hope is in Parsons miraculously healing fully from injury and giving 15+ppg. We need to respectfully let TA and ZBo go unless they come at a great price and want to stay. We should try to resign Jam. PLEASE NO HARRISON! Quit giving up on obvious talents like Whiteside and T. Williams

He completely tried to change the style of play with players not suited for his new style.

Far more reliance on the 3s and defense is not as good as has been.

Not accurate, went from 18th in 2015-2016 to 7th this year in Team Defensive Efficiency.

1 San Antonio 1.002
2 Golden State 1.004
3 Utah 1.022 1.036
4 Atlanta 1.025
5 Miami 1.033
6 Chicago 1.035
7 Memphis 1.037

We are playing a better team, who has the #1 defense in the league, without our starting wings, who can't play cause of injury. No reason to over-analyze.

We had another good year. 7th straight playoff trip. Marc had a great year after suffering an injury that has ended other big men's careers. Conley his best season. I'm satisfied.

Harrison is going to be a lock down defender and solid facilitator by year 3

I think there's more truth to this than many believe. He's a rookie. He's going to have growing pains...but I can see this experience being very beneficial to him and us all looking back down the road and saying, wow...he's not terrible.

I'm slowly coming around on Harrison. Like Dynamos said, he is already a good defender, and can defend multiple positions. Harrison is not super athletic, but he moves laterally very well. He still reaches too much, and gets unnecessary fouls, but all rookies do that.

He has to improve his shooting. Like last night, he hits the 3, and the Spurs have to guard him, and suddenly our 2nd unit offense opens up and can score.

Fizz likes to play Mike off the ball, so the minutes are there for Harrison to take. I also kind of like the competition between he and Baldwin.

The Grizz 3 max players at the end of this season have remaining contract lengths as follows:

* Conley - 20% into his contact.
* Gasol - 40% into his contract.
* Parsons- 25% into his contract.

This is our core team for the next two seasons at least. Grizz aren't trading Mike & Marc, no one wants Parsons. Talk of trading our Big 3 or rebuilding this off-season is a waste of energy.

The Parsons deal rates right up there with Big Country as to mistaken moves by this franchise.

While you may be correct about Parsons, Bryant Reeves is in the top 8 in Grizzlies franchise total points. By the time the team moved here, Reeves back had forced him from the game. I remember him briefly playing one preseason game after they moved here but was taken out and directly to the locker room. His short 6 year career in Vancouver was pretty solid. I believe Reeves is a farmer in Oklahoma today.
