I'd watch that. Every year. And I don't watch a lot of college football that doesn't involve the Bearcats.

Not Kansas-Missouri. One criterion should be, would the game get better TV ratings than a conference game between two average P5 teams. Pick two teams that were about average last year. Georgia-Kentucky, TCU-Texas Tech, whatever. The other four games you listed pass that test. A Kansas-Missouri football game does not.

Number 18 happens annually and number 17 happens but intermittently.

Thanks. My dad's family is from Kansas, and he went to K State (as did my mom, who was from Huntington Beach). Even for K Staters this was a must watch game (State pride on the line). Missouri vs Kansas is a rivalry that goes back to the battles for Kansas (border wars) just prior to the Civil War. This is an ancient rivalry. It should always be played in Kansas City. The animosity between Kansas and Missouri got the game cancelled. But heads have cooled and it needs to restart.

Wedge, you know California, but you don't know Kansas.

Haven't seen TN vs. VT Tech yet, so I'll add the Smoky-Hokie Rivalry.

I have mixed feelings about playing FCS but as long as it happens anyway, TN vs ETSU.

Also TN vs. Memphis should happen more often.

I'd also want Vandy vs. Wake to be a yearly thing.

That would set up a great SEC east vs ACC lineup while the SEC west plus Missouri plays Big 12 teams.

If there are any more games that you think should happen every year post them

1) Tulane vs. LSU (Thanksgiving, Super Dome / Baton Rouge)
2) NC State vs. East Carolina (Thanksgiving Home/Home)
3) Marshall vs. West Virginia (Home/Home)
4) Pitt vs. West Virginia
5) Texas vs. Texas A&M (Thanksgiving)
6) Arkansas State vs. Arkansas (Labor Day Weekend in Little Rock)
7) Cincinnati vs. Louisville
8) Memphis vs. Ole Miss
9) Florida vs. Miami
10) Maryland vs. Navy
11) Temple vs. Penn State
12) Temple vs. Rutgers
13) Boston College vs. UConn
14) Miami (OH) vs. Cincinnati
15) Notre Dame vs. Michigan
16) Illinois vs. NIU
17) UTEP vs. New Mexico
18) UTEP vs. NM State
19) NM State vs. New Mexico (Thanksgiving)
20) BYU vs. Utah State
21) Utah State vs. Utah
22) Utah vs. BYU (Thanksgiving)
23) Houston vs. Rice (Thanksgiving)
24) Eastern Washington @ Washington St. (Labor Day Weekend)
25) UAB vs. Alabama (week before Thanksgiving, gives Alabama a defacto home game in Birmingham every other year)
26) Southern Miss vs. Ole Miss
27) Southern Miss vs. Mississippi State
28) WKU vs. Kentucky
29) Memphis vs. Tennessee
30) Eastern Michigan @ Michigan (First Home Game for Michigan)
31) Kansas vs. Missouri (Thanksgiving)

Cincy vs. Louisville (#7) should resume their annual rivalry in both football and basketball annually. It was one of the oldest continuous rivalries in the country (since 1929) until the demise of the old Big East.

UC should also have more frequent home and home contests with Ohio State, again in both football and basketball. Not annually, but every other year, perhaps. It's been a long time since the Buckeyes have agreed to play Cincy in Cincy and actually showed up, maybe because they were damned lucky to escape with a late 4th quarter victory the last time they played there.

Please. That was the only year in the last 100 years in which both teams were ranked. Any game between two ranked teams near the end of the season gets good ratings.

Sorry Wedge, you are off on this. The Boder War is as American as apple pie. Wish the Kansas legislature would let it happen, but they are still mad about mizzou leaving the Big 12. (See Texas vs Texas A&M game)

Typically Navy vs Notre Dame doesn't feature two ranked teams either. The rivalry game is too important to not be played.

If someone ever suggested that Cal vs Stanford wasn't to be played because of TV ratings you'd fall on the floor laughing...
