Better news: We play two of the three in three game series at home.
It ain't over 'till it's over.
I posted this over on the CUSA Conference Talk board:

I looked at the schedules of the bottom eight to get a picture of who has the easiest/hardest schedule for making the 8-team CUSA tournament field. The bottom four teams at the end of the season will be left out.
Consider how many series that remain in these last five weekends are with the current top four teams: USM, FAU, ODU & Charlotte:
3 - UTSA (FAU, @Charlotte, USM)
_ - UAB (Charlotte, ODU, @USM)
2 - FIU (@FAU, @ ODU)
_ - Middle Tennessee (@Charlotte, USM)
_ - Marshall (@ODU, Charlotte)
1 - Rice (@Charlotte)
_ - WKU (FAU)
0 - Louisiana Tech
By this admittedly crude measure, one might anticipate UTSA and UAB ending up below the line ... and if Rice doesn't win its home series with MidTenn and WK doesn't do the same @Marshall, then they will also likely be cut.
But there is still a path to the conference tournament that doesn't require a miracle. We still possess a command of our fate. But I think we will need a sweep of at least one of the teams above us.
Time to catch fire.
Put a fork in it the party's over.
Sorry, the dumpster *started burning* about 4 games into the season and hasn't really let up.
Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?

That's Senator Blutarski to you.
But if you prefer a baseball source, "It ain't over 'till it's over".
And it ain't over yet.
I may not exactly be Optimistic, but I am hopeful, and will remain so.

As usual, he is up on his high horse.
When that movie came out, I told my wife that, except for the parade scenes at the end, it mirrored my college experience exactly.
Perhaps I didn't study as much as most of the rest of you...
But I did graduate...
