New business development in Canada
Should be popular with a lot on here: Canada is about to become the 2nd country in the world to fully legalize recreational marijuana use.

http://www.thecannabist.co/2017/04/14/ca...ion/77314/

Legal marijuana in Canada, one of the U.S.’s strongest allies, could be a game-changer for domestic marijuana policy discussions in the states. While eight states plus the District of Columbia have already legalized recreational marijuana here, it remains illegal at the federal level. This makes it difficult, if not impossible, for state-legal marijuana businesses to use the banking system, receive tax breaks, and otherwise operate without fear of federal interference.

By contrast, national legalization to the North could create a fertile environment for marijuana businesses to start up and operate, potentially giving Canadian companies a competitive edge over stateside businesses in the future. Domestic cannabis businesses are already involved in intense lobbying efforts to ease federal restrictions in the U.S.

After dealing with Canadians over the years, I was under the assumption weed was already legal and everyone up there was perpetually high.

Just don't inject more than 3 Marihuanas and you'll be fine.

I hope legal pot is safer. I have a lot of dead friends that liked to toke who died from odd things in middle age. I know some will dismiss this, but they all smoked the same stuff from the same sources.

Agreed, it's not uncommon for illegal weed to get laced with different chemicals like embalming fluid (boat) or windex. It would be nice to not have to worry about people ingesting chemicalized drugs they had no intention of trying.

To protect your people from weed, its best to spray toxic chemicals on it that can cause respiratory distress, maybe cancer, and later on Parkinson's.

Sort of like you have to burn the village to save it.

I think i read somewhere around 20,000 documented uses. Anything made with petroleum can be produced using hemp. It's potential uses are mind-boggling.

Ever drive behind one of those veggie oil powered diesels? If so you gotta laugh about the idea of the smell of a hemp powered VW Bus.

If America was smarter, we would've gotten out in front of this instead of being stuck in the 70's. Marijuana being illegal makes no sense on any level.

Too bad we have Jefferson Beauregard "I thought the KKK was OK until I learned they smoked pot" Sessions as Attorney General.

veddy good....it's why the duponts/hearsts of that day were concerned....and why it's illegal to this day

it's a sin how hemp has been crushed into nonexistence over the past 100+ yrs....

too many brainwashed folks that believe what appears in print.....shockingly, people are starting to wake up to the facts....

hell, I'll even go so far to state that it has the potential to pull many a state/local economy out of their current depressed state.....

it's truly a disallowed natural resource that would create another competitive industrial revolution....
