I love and hate Spring games.

I love them because I am usually so starved for Pirate football by April that I'm ecstatic to watch a glorified practice with vanilla playcalling.

I hate them because you learn almost nothing. If your offense looks great, does your defense suck? If your defense does great, does your offense suck? If it's a battle, do you just suck?

The water boy and towel boy will be starting due to a lack of bodies.

Haha I don't think I've ever been to an ECU Spring Game without a HEALTHY 6-8 hour tailgate beforehand.

Niumat called off the final practice tomorrow; already no spring game.
Staff has seen what they need to and don't want injuries.

No telling how well Tulsa's QB's will do this coming fall. Expect it will be similar to how Dane Evans looked during Coach Monty's first season at Tulsa. Except these QB's will have even less experience than Dane had then.

This is what I always have in mind when going to spring games also.

This season for example, I'd be watching Oliver and see if he's 100% healthy and hope he's bulked up enough some more.

The QB position is another area I'll keep a close eye on as well.

Me too, I'm looking forward to the restoored program an the return of the power running game.
You heard it here Witchita will not give up on football, with a much better tv contract than they had when they tried before, it could work this time.

I couldn't care less about the game. I do love sitting in a field next to a stadium and drinking beer.

It would just be nice for us to compete in this league. I have watched or gone to every UConn football game since i can remember. Its sad what this program has turned into. I hope Randy can work his magic and get us back to where we were.It would be nice for us to think we can at least have a chance against the top teams in the AAC. lately its seemed like its a loss before the game even starts.
