I'm in the same boat and will be doing the same thing.

These petty morons in our legislature will get a clue when they lose their jobs, because they are packing their bags with each passing day.

Makes me sick.
I'm a conservative. This is a ridiculous waste of time. Bring more jobs, constitutional carry, cut taxes... anything but this stupid ****.

Sounds like typical over reaction by the politician who proposed the bill.

UNC isn't going anywhere and this bill will get squashed by their lobby.

The real question is if things somehow actually do go down with the ACC, are we gonna invite UNC and NC State? Talk about a basketball conference!

I'm sure we would offer, but the B1G would scoop up UNC and the SEC would scoop up the NC State.

The SEC wouldn't touch NC State; UNC? Probably...

IMO UNC would be able to get into any conference they want if this bill passes. They have blue blood basketball program, and a football program that is getting pretty good pretty quickly. i mean we could try to invite them, you would need to replace UConn and cincy or some one else that the ACC may scoop up out of the AAC. But don't think that they would find the AAC very attractive. I think the BIG 12 may try for NC state

This is all a hypothetical pipe dream; no chance in hell UNC is ever leaving the ACC, nor would the ACC do anything that would jeopardize their membership (even if this ridiculous bill were to pass, which it won't).

if it does pass...I wouldn't be suprised lol. I do feel like another conference shake up would be in making if the ACC does boycott NC again.

The SEC would snap them up in a heartbeat. UConn would probably end up in the ACC as the ACC would lose 2 "no" votes and the old Big East schools would gain more power.

There is absolutely ZERO chance this passes. It would be vetoed as soon as the paper hit the current Gov's desk.

I don't think so; they are not the same caliber of an institution (neither were Miami and Louisville, but they were allowed in because of their multiple championships in football and bball). Unfortunately, Cincy doesn't have the recent championships to do the same.

I think its still a solid choice. But if they don't pick Cincy, I do think that i do think the ACC will make a push to convince Kansas to leave the big 12 and join the ACC with UConn. UConn in ACC, ah what a pleasant thought

That is feasible and totally sounds like something the ACC and ESPN would conspire to do (as they have in the past).

What would happen to the American if Cincy and UConn left? that move would really hurt the AAC. There is really no big basketball names left in Conference. WSU is really good right now but They dont have the big names that UConn and Cincy do.
