It looks like the former Rocket hoopster had a good year at Kennesaw State

"2016-17
Named ASUN Second Team All-Conference… Williams finished the season with 19 double-doubles… First Kennesaw State player to average a double-double with 12.9 points and 10.8 rebounds per game… Led the conference in rebounding and was ninth in the nation averaging 10.8 rebounds per game… Finished the season with 347 rebounds, which is the second most all time in KSU history… Also led the team in blocks and was second on the team in steals… Had double-doubles in 10 of the 14 conference games... Led the team in rebounding in 27 games and points in five games… Scored in double figures in 24 games this season and rebounded in double figures in 22 games this season… Started all 32 games this season."

Impressive. He looks completely different. Grew into his body and worked hard and now he's seeing results. Way to go Aubrey!

Remember he came to Toledo really young. There is a big difference being 18 and 21 years of age....

Graduated HS at 16. Not sure how much he would have contributed here, but probably more than DD.

I know what they say about "Monday Morning Quarterbacking", but still...if he had stayed here & developed into a player who provided even half of those stats he had at Kennesaw State, he could have been a difference maker for us in the paint as a sub for Steve Taylor, Jr. & allowing Knapke to play more facing the basket where he seemed more comfortable (imo).

Then again, even if he had stayed here, there's no guarantee he would have developed like he did at KSU...in any case, nice to see that he ended his college career on such a high note.
