Might be all she wrote. Next batter up, home run. 11-7

The pitcher can't get a ball into the strike zone without serving it. Either misses or leaves it hanging

Bases loaded again....

Still 1 out

There are no words. This has become like little league when one team is basically the Bad News Bears and the other is a team full of future college and pro players

I was gonna skip my 6 year old 's baseball practice and take him down to W-S to see the Chants play tonight. Glad we went to practice instead.

Our pitching just isn't where it needs to be, especially in a midweek game vs a hard hitting Wake Forest club.

....there was one out for about an hour. Pitching not being there is an understatement.

If you guys want to make another run some guys need to get in a groove and you don't need to play Wake again. The way that they are hitting the ball, they have a pretty good shot at taking the tournament.

Teams like USC have closers coming in throwing 96 MPH while their relievers and starters are in the low to mid 90's as well so they may have a shot as well.

Wake leads the NCAA in home runs right now so it isn't necessarily surprising that they won. The surprising thing is that Coastal's pitching staff were made to look like division two guys.

It was really only one pitcher. Radio has been decent for most of the season. Last night he imploded with a limited pen thanks to the weekend series being pushed up. Sorta fed the kid to the wolves.

We are just thin at pitcher. It is tough when we have starters that have to be pulled in the 4th or 5th inning and a key guy out with an injury.

Based on what I heard from your message board, the Chants have been having issues putting away quality opponents all season.

Yes, we have been thin and inconsistent with pitching all season.
