i love both. But no one plays harder then Hockey players. We have all seen a hockey player play thru an injury that that in any other sport they would be sent to the locker room for.Hockey players are tough motherfuckers.

I get it, and I was the same way for the longest time. But as long as Les Alexander owns the Rockets Houston isn't getting a team. Ultimately I love hockey too much to not have a team, and I'm not gonna be lame by picking some out of state team that I have no ties to just because they win a lot or have a cool logo. I further rationalized it by making an internal promise to myself that if/when Houston gets the NHL I'm dropping Dallas in a heartbeat 04-cheers

My understanding is that only a team owned or approved by Les can occupy the Toyota Center. He ran the Aeros off a few years ago because he didn't want to have to schedule around hockey anymore, and no one is going to build a hockey-only facility in Houston.

Yeah that's... not a realistic solution. Hockey outdoors is a novelty thing, not at all feasible to do for an entire season. Not to mention the damage a rink and refrigeration equipment would cause to the Dynamo playing surface. And we're not even talking about the Houston climate, which could maintain a playing surface for maybe all of three weeks a season.

This Rangers/Canadiens game is great. You can tell that they have some genuine hard feelings for each other

Dallas is a great place. Like Houston, we have heat and sprawl. Unlike Houston, we have zoning.

I mean sure you get a raunchy strip club next to your house. But you also occasionally get a decent bar that you can walk to lol.

The Wild got plenty of offensive pressure on the Blues, but Jake Allen saved 51 of 52 Wild shots. Big for the Blues to take game 1 on the road, back at it tomorrow night.
