If Roback goes 25/30 and 4 TD, I still wouldn't say that he's the best quarterback in the MAC. You can make a case that he has the highest ceiling after college out of the current MAC QBs, but let's not get carried away with what we have right now.

Roback shouldn't even be mentioned as being one of the best quarterbacks in the conference. The guy is a fifth year senior and he has regressed to how he was playing a couple of years ago. He's making so many poor decisions that he looks like a freshman/sophomore quarterback. Seriously, Creighton should start grooming the next quarterback because Roback has never lived up to his potential.

Completely accurate observation.

You have no clue on what you're talking about..... I'll write more later. Did you play football, maybe Highschool?

Are you hanging from Roback's nut sack? I didn't say anything about you. My comments were about Roback. Yet, you feel you have to attack me. What an azzhole. I see nothing has changed around here, "men" still acting like children...you in particular.
I couldn't care less what you have to say. So save your breath.

As the season rolls on and IF it becomes apparent that we will not be bowl eligible then I would agree its time to see how the other QBs do and get ready for next season. Its way too early to determine otherwise at this point.

Dude. Get off your high horse about being a high school quarterback; you're embarrassing yourself. Roback is a fifth-year player who wasn't even the starting QB for the season opener until this year. You absolutely cannot convince me that he's better than Tyree Jackson (albeit, he's hurt, but you get the idea), let alone Logan Woodside or Nathan Rourke. I like HuronRob's point about Roback being a regressed QB.
I understand the homerism, but let's not get carried away. Roback's talented, but he's failing between the ears. Good quarterbacks don't do that.

Unfortunately, already looking forward to the QB competition next year, especially if we get both Jackson & Grissom into camp, to compete with Steibeling.
All of the excitement of possibly getting the best version of Brogan has completely disappeared. His throws are now so predictable it's laughable. Oh well, hopefully we squeeze out 6 or 7 wins for another bowl game, and get a pleasant surprise from one of the youngsters next year to lead us into the future.
Taking the full package into consideration, Brogan is a middle of the road MAC QB. That's not a terrible thing, he's had a decent career, it is what it is.

Dear george14,
You better go back and do a re-count. Out of approximately 110 comments, Shane Morris was mentioned five or six times and mostly by one or two of the Eastern posters. You keep coming on our site with wrong information. Unless you think six comments out of 110 is a majority.

Not sure why you are trying to start an argument out of nothing. I never said "a majority of the comments". I simply saw people discussing Shane Morris and posting stat lines. Relax Ken. Still patiently waiting on the 5-5 vote you cited. Looks like you chose to ABSTAIN from it.

Here we go again. Solid thread hijack.

Dear george14,
When you say this has become about Shane Morris, to any rational person, one would think that most of the discussion is going to be about him. That's the majority. It's also interesting that you bring up, that you didn't say majority, as a way of defending your comment, even though it does.

Agree. Whoever started it, kill it. Brogan has a chance to start anew this week and get the O on a roll to finish the season strong!
