Mizzou still dealing with the fallout from Libturd Stupidity
The University of Missouri has announced the closure of three additional undergrad residence halls due to the shortfall in student enrollment following the 2015 race protests. The closures bring the total number of closed residence halls to seven.

awwww.....actions have consequences....
no sane parent would enroll their child into that shitehole environment unless they have a specialized concept in mind (e.g. doctor, lawyer, engineering, business, etc....)
is better to the spend the money setting up a viable business for 'em right out of the gate if they already know what matters...
that's what I'm doing for mine....
higher education has become an overpriced/debt burdening joke festival....the tools to learn in specifics are readily available now w/o the sheep or the skin....
I'm lucky to have a daughter and ex-wife with the utmost seriousness of clues....my daughter worked the first day she was licenced to drive....and the wife has a masters too....
that's how you procreate, hope for the best, and train 'em along the trail....the game is continually changing....just another form of chess within 'means'....

I think this is a lot like Target.
You are seeing underlying weaknesses come to a head more than you are a fallout for something else.

Did Missou sign the #1 high school basketball player? That has to be worth something.

Well.....they hired the dad of the #1 high school basketball player. Then his son decided to go play there.

we did that at southern miss signing dual threat QB and baseball phenom Anthony Alford ((aka as "batter(y) boy")) along with his surrogate father (HS coach)
that was a disaster of epic proportions.....0-12 is where that got us in '12
ref: see pic in sig....
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anthony_Alford
this doesn't tell the whole story, but it should suffice....
Quote:Alford was projected as a first-round talent going into the 2012 Major League Baseball draft, but made it clear that his intention was to continue playing football, leading many teams to pass over him due to signability concerns. The Toronto Blue Jays drafted Alford in the third round, 112th overall.[6] He signed a contract with Toronto which paid him a $750,000 bonus and allowed him to attend university to play football, and then play baseball in the summer.[6]
Alford made his professional baseball debut as a member of the Gulf Coast League Blue Jays in 2012 and played in five games, where he hit .167 with one home run and four stolen bases.[7] Following the baseball season, he began attending the University of Southern Mississippi as a member of the football team, but transferred to the University of Mississippi after one year following an on-campus fight
Quote:Alford took part in 2017 Major League spring training, and was praised by manager John Gibbons for the improvements he had made over the past year. On March 17, he was assigned to the Double-A New Hampshire Fisher Cats
he's now playing AA ball....quite ironic....funny how thingys sometimes work out....

RE: Mizzou still dealing with the fallout from Libturd Stupidity
My younger brother goes to Mizzou now, but he's a sophomore so he had no idea that the whole protest scene was going to explode like it did. That school is just a cluster**** right now. High schoolers took note, which is why Missouri State, Truman State, and a few other public schools around there have record freshman classes this school year.
