Dawa - another term to understand
In a new book by Ayaan Hirsi Ali (you know that hateful woman who criticized Islam for its treatment of women) titled “The Challenge of Dawa” , and as described in the April 8 edition of the Wall Street Journal:

Quote:Ms Ali defines the danger of dawa as the ceaseless, world-wide ideological campaign waged by Islamists as a complement to jihad

.....

"It aims to convert non-Muslims to political Islam and also to push existing Muslims in a more extreme direction.” The ultimate goal is “to destroy the political institutions of a free society and replace them with Shariah.” It is a “never-ending process,” she says, and then checks herself: “It ends when an Islamic utopia is achieved. Shariah everywhere!”

.....

Ms. Hirsi Ali contends that the West has made a colossal mistake by its obsession with “terror” in the years since 9/11. “In focusing only on acts of violence,” she says, “we’ve ignored the Islamist ideology underlying those acts. By not fighting a war of ideas against political Islam—or ‘Islamism’—and against those who spread that ideology in our midst, we’ve committed a blunder.”

religious patterns....they always fail....every single time...

one has nothing to do with the other in scope (with the exception of current brain capacity coupled with development.....nobody wants to hear it defined like that so that posit continues to gain zero traction)

today, we still absorb millennia of fk'n idiots that believe in a 'movement'....those stupid fk'rs don't even see the leaves....

Dawa is simply proselytizing. On its head it's no different than going around and preaching. The lady in your quote missed the definition of the term to have it fit her narrative.

Never trust an ideologue.

OK, I'll ignore your post but only after noting that the lady is a Muslim.

Doesn't mean that she's correct.

That woman has been cited with numerous awards by the international community for her activism on human rights and has an unparalleled standing as a spokesman on behalf of Muslim women.

What more do you demand in the way of credibility?

An accurate definition of dawa. Maybe a disclaimer stating "this is what it means to me".

Nope. Now if you said Wahhabism did those things, then I would agree.
