Congrats to ODU! GS's coed team won the coed division championship. I know a lot of former GS cheerleaders and you wouldn't believe what they do to compete in their sport. Cheerleading isn't an NCAA sanctioned sport so cheerleaders rarely get scholarships and mostly self fund their own teams. Our squad had to raise 10k this season in order to go compete for the championship.

in the Intermediate Small Coed division, FIU finished 2nd, with North Texas coming in 3rd...stupid smu was first...southern miss was 5th and fau 7th

at North Texas, our board (gomeangreen) puts on a member basketball game with silent auction every year to raise cash for the team. this year we raised over 10k! these teams need our help and it's great that we can pitch in and have some fun and get them the funds they need.

That's awesome! Way to support your cheer squads!

Note that they are not the only squad from C-USA to finish in the top ten.
