RE: Threat of Economic Collapse Because of Medical Monopolies
Said simpler...

Any hospital can tell you 'what they charge' for anything you want. What they can't tell you is whether or not you need those things. They also can tell you what the 'bundled price' is for any combination of services/diagnosis... but again, they can't tell you whether you have that bundle or not.

This of course is changed if you have insurance, and every insurance is slightly different... but generally speaking it doesn't matter what the hospital charges if you have insurance (that they accept)... because they have agreed to accept 'whatever' the insurer pays them (plus your copay and/or deductible) for those services.

If you want to end that so that we get more pricing clarity, that's fine... but now it will be impossible to price insurance.

Pick your poison.

it's pretty simple to bill for 'non-necessary'.....it's just too easy....

#practicingsiphoningmedicine
