That situation is like most others in the Middle East leading me to not be sure just what is true. I completely understand where Reggie is coming from and don't fault him one bit. Nevertheless, we smoked their azzes, right or wrong! My guess is that it's a way for Trump to send messages to multiple parties both here and abroad. I have not seen detailed reports (if that's even possible) but the initial non-MSM report said that we targeted planes, warehouses, munitions, and fuel supply at the air base. Not personnel...and yes it mentioned that there are/were Russian troops on that base.

Bigger question for some (fools) out there...why would Trump target a base where "his Russian friends" are present?!? And the real conspiracy theories begin

its not been proven he "gassed" the people a few years ago.

yes, im aware of the civil war. he was fighting IS / rebels. he attacked a bunker of the rebels. the bunker had nerve gas in it. it exploded. he didnt purposely gas his people. that would be stupid.

he had the rebels on the run. there were peace talks cranking up. things were looking up for Assad. he was getting close to ending the civil war and staying in power. but youre saying...all of a sudden...he decided.."ahhh, things are looking up for me....let me go gas some babies and women...hahah" that makes no sense. it was an accident....and possibly a setup by the people that don't want him in power. he is smart enough to know that the whole world would turn on him, including the US, if he gassed women and children. the guy isnt that stupid.

in the end....it may work out that we attack their base. but i dont think the reason was bc he gassed his people or that the US Gov believes he gassed them. the Gov just needed an excuse to fire up the military, flex some muscle and let the world know that if the US says something...do it or else. the Gov needed an "event" and "excuse" to initiate military action that the public at large (sheeple) would buy off on.
