Can somebody see if they're on Twitter and tweet them the phone number? Maybe that's the breakdown in communication.

RE: Grad Transfers
Ok, somebody needs to 'splain it to me.
Your a grad transfer candidate...you got one year left to play ball, you want to broaden you horizons, improve your skills, become a better player.
So, looking at what is presently here, the potential of the program, and the current staff, why in the world would you want to transfer to the Tiger program at this particular time? What is there that would attract your attention and make you want to join this dumpster fire?

They probably don't.
A lot of things have come crashing down this week, leaving a lot of fans in wishful/hopeful thinking mode.
In reality, it's not going to be pretty next year.
My bet? 4th straight season of no NCAA, no NIT.
Tubby's year 3 will be a team with a group of experienced seniors and his 3 star frosh will then be sophs and he might eek out a 24-10 season or something similar and get gifted a bid like his Texas Tech team was last year.
And all the worshippers will gather in a circle and chant nonsense to the basketball gods.

I like your optimism but it's not happening. Tubby only makes the NCAA tourney by one specific way which is getting a bonanza of opportunities for quality wins and taking maybe 33% of them. And then not having bad losses because of strong conference.
He can't do it here because there are so many land mines waiting to sink your resume in AAC and so few good teams

Grad transfers #1 priority traditionally has been playing time. We can certainly offer that.

Yeah, but will one of the staff answer the phone. Might interrupt tee time or nap time.

RE: Grad Transfers
Did y'all watch the tournaments? Seems to me we could possibly squeeze in the bottom of the NIT, depending on who we sign.
Our whole season is now hinging on Tubby's recruiting skills.
lordy mama lol. The very skill he lacks is now in harsh demand.
The irony is just killing me

Unless Smith pulls a rabbit out of his hat, at best we won't be much better than a game or two over .500 next year, we'll finish in the bottom half of the conference, and will finish in the 130 to 150 RPI range. At worst we win like 10 games, finish in the bottom third of the AAC and flirt with 200. No NCAA or NIT is a virtual certainty.

Well for most, it would be a step-up in league, visibility, prestige. And still guaranteed playing time. There is another subset who are not looking for that - they're looking for the postseason experience. We probably fall short in that reward category.
Tubby doesn't have a history with grad transfers, though, so don't hold out too much hope. He goes juco, prep school, internationally much more often. I believe last year was the first time he's ever gone the grad transfer route. Granted, he did it twice last year - so who knows. Maybe he's changing philosophies.
