If the dude was qualified...why did he turn around and fire his own brother-in-law? Look, I don't care for Saul being on staff. Unless he brings in some tough and talented recruits...his azz can go back to being a statistician guy.

Big difference in Head Assistant and a Strength Coach. And yes... Pastner's brother-in-law was much more qualified. Won't give it a rest until Tubby gives me a reason to.

Completely agree. As cheesy and cliche as Esposito's tweets are, it kinda works for him because he has that goofball dad persona going for him. He still isn't what I would call a lead recruiter, though. Tubby should've let Joe get his #TubbyTough players and given Saul's position to Keelon so that he could act as a bridge in communication between the staff and local players.

I believe Saul has had a twitter account since he was at TTU and hasn't even used it yet! You can say that's me overreacting, but if you are on twitter you already know that our football staff is online 24/7 retweeting recruits and promoting the program.

Which is worse? Allegedly using your kids as leverage to get yourself a job, or using a position of authority to give your son a job over more qualified candidates? For someone who values ethics and morals so much, this seems hypocritical.

Lionel Hollins isn't the type of coach Tubby Smith needs. Lionel wouldn't recruit.
