I see we've recently added Ole Miss (2022) and Michigan State (2019) to the non conference football schedules. They're both 1-and-done away games for over $1 million each.

I know a home-and-home is ideal, but does anyone think it's still worth playing these games with the payout provided?

I think getting a team like Ole Miss in this situation is probably the best because they're up and down enough we could very well go win that game against them. And get paid to do it!

Many will disagree with me, but I am only for "1 and 1" contracts unless we play on a neutral site in their region. For instance, I would approve of playing Arkansas one game in F-Ville, one in Tulsa and once in Little Rock as a neutral "off" campus site. I would also reluctantly schedule a series of games in Little Rock only since its off their campus. But Gragg does it bass-ackwards and just doesn't care enough to really negotiate. Besides he is connected to Arkansas since he used to work there. As far as Ole Miss is concerned, same thing. 1-1 or a 1-1-1.

Here is the concern. If you keep doing these unfair contracts, it hurts the program in a variety of ways. Coaches get disgusted with a "no win" scenario and end up leaving before they should. Players leave early rather than fight it too. Fans just throw up their hands and say they won't buy season tickets. Our program today is the remnant of the decades of signing those unfair Arkansas contracts many years ago that crippled the program. An Ole Miss one and done is the same. OSU as well. I won't say what a lot of posters do, that Gragg is pimping us out. I won't say that. But he is pimping!. As in pimping us, like a pimp.

Thats my take.
