It's not about giving Tubby a chance. It's about Tubby doing something with the chance he has already been given of leading our basketball program. Maybe I should see rainbows and unicorns and have blind faith that everything will magically be super fantastic next year and beyond. I don't apologize for wanting our coach to act like he cares and is out there trying to make it happen. Tubby has not shown that and instead told fans to lower expectations. No Tubby, raise yours.

I'm not Pastner fan by any means, never really was, but the guy at least acted like he cared and showed it.

This has nothing to do with Pastner. He needed to go long before he left. However, it's possible we actually didn't make a good hire.

You do realize those two statements are actually possible to make.

Tubbys getting paid more a year to put a worse product on the floor than a coach everyone agrees needed to be let go.

What product has he placed on the floor? He inherited a poor product from the previous coach.

Essentially he will have a year and a half to recruit his own team.

Yeah, I am. I just think there's going to be enough slaw on the schedule for 10 wins and then 4-6 more from somewhere. Kids are used to playing pick up games.

Now, they won't beat any good teams; well, maybe one at some point in the season but that'll be about it.
