We seem to get our coaches on these lists even though they have never won anything.

Agree. To many schools try to grab coaches just because they have winning records, case in point, Matt Campbell or Tim Beckman. Candle maybe gone in a few years, if, he wins a lot of games, but, no MAC title. It all comes down to MONEY, no matter how you slice the pie. Gone are the days where the head coach thought more about his team and school before his pocket book.

We had one of those. Won the MAC with him, our last title actually. Did not end so well, though.

I was hoping that Coach Kehres would have rubbed off on his guys - stay at one school and BE the program. Campbell, nope. Candle? We'll find out, I suppose.
