Hi all, hope everyone is doing well. Not sure if you noticed, but I have been MIA for sometime now. Both of my parents have been very sick the last 3 years or so. My Mama has been fighting dementia for 2.5 years. What a horrible and cruel disease. She lost her fight last week and I lost my precious Mama . It's still all so surreal. RIP Mom. I miss her so terribly already.
I am completely out of touch with my Tigers....not sure what is going on. Nothing we can't recover from I hope. I think I will be giving up season tickets, they have served as place holders for the last 2 seasons.
Anyway, just wanted to pop in and say hi to everyone.

Sorry to hear, I can only imagine the heartbreak you feel. The bond between Moms and daughters is a special one!

I am sorry to hear that. I had noticed your absence here. You had posted awhile back that you were concerned about family health matters, and I assumed that was the reason.

Hopefully, if you feel up to it, you will post here again sometime in the future.

So sorry for your loss. I understand how cruel this disease is. My sister has FTD, type of dementia that affects adults in their younger years. She is 2 years younger than me, and can just barely do the regular daily activities of living. Totally dependent on me as her caretaker.

I cannot imagine what you have had to deal with. You and your family are in my prayers.

As for what you might have missed Tiger-wise, it's all in the noise compared with what you've been through.

truly sorry about your loss tanya. Terrible disease. lost my pap to alzheimer's. watched a neighbor's wife go from bubbly to walking hunched over in a matter of two years.
