Rice defeats UH 9-0. We've been playing better lately (eye test) but definitely need to get a conference series win against LA Tech this weekend as we need to focus on making the conference tourney.

What about your "defensive" catcher allowing the tying to run score in the bottom of the 9th on a passed ball? That feels a lot like snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

Anybody else hold their breath every time Boyd makes a play? He seems to make even the most routine plays close at 1st.

We invented a new way to lose that would make the New Orleans Saints Proud with giving up a walk off wild pitch on an intentional walk. With two outs, we hit a pitcher at bat for the first time in the year, threw a wild pitch, game up an infield hit, and then the infamous wild pitch on an intentional walk. Impressive.
