I'm looking forward to the spring game so I can see the competition myself. It would be interesting to see how he is used if he becomes the starter. He is not your typical pocket passer.
Based on the limited time I've seen in person, Flacco seems to run the offense more confidently (maybe showing his experience) while Wassink clearly has the stronger arm and higher upside. I don't think it's going to be an easy decision for the coaches. I can see pros and cons to both.
Can Flacco complete a pass more than 10 yards downfield? He hasn't been asked to in the past.
He did in the Bahamas Bowl. And I caught a practice last fall where he was dropping bombs to the receivers from 40-50. The balls looked accurate and zippy in this non-athlete's opinion.

he had a pretty nice throw to Davis against Toledo when we beat them at their place 2 seasons ago.
