Ok... it's prediction time...take your bets folks.

Sept. 6... Tulsa @ Arkansas... how do you see it?

Personally...with TU having a horrid defense... I see myself singing the fight song many a time, followed by the Victory Song (O Lord, it's Hard to be Humble), and a good start to the 03 season. Tulsa will be a good test for Roy Wittke's new passing attack, and I think Matt Jones might be the first Razorback to throw, run, and catch a TD in the same game.

With confidence in this game a flowing, I see it....

Arkansas 44, Tulsa 6

I think you nailed it, although TU may score another late TD or something after Nutt calls off the dogs on 'em.

I'll say 42-13 Hogs!

CTH, I'm hearing that Sorahan is the favorite to start the season at qb, with Jones at receiver, and occasionally at qb. This may surprise a lot of folks around the SEC, who assume Jones is the Hog qb. Sounds like Sorahan has changed his passing motion to more of an overhand. He came on strong a couple years back, but his sidearm motion and slowness hampered him.

Jones will start at QB vs. Tulsa...but the hope is that Sorahan will become solid enough to where he'll be the QB, and Jones will play WR mostly, with some QB action.

Jones is an awesome WR. He's super tall at 6'6" so he'd create a ton of mismatches for opposing teams. With 4.4 speed, he's a deep threat for the Razorbacks that we sorely need.

Sounds good! I hope, as always, that The University goes 12-1, with a big bowl win.

Why not? All we gotta do is beat the prognosticators one time...that shouldn't take any time at all to do.

We'll take all luck...store it in the vault, and release all we got Sept. 13th against Texas.

And man...the anti-Texas stuff will be flowing all OVER SECbbs next week.

GO HOGS! BEAT TU, THEN UT!

I'll take...

Arkansas 41
Tulsa 10

Should be a lot like the Boise State game last year. Hope there arent any injuries on either side, didnt like seeing the Boise State QB go down last year.

The University wins 41-9. TU, proud as their football tradition is, needs to focus on basketball. Glenn Dobbs ain't coming back from the dead, and nobody is going to win there, ever again. Their last run at the top was in the early 80s, when John Cooper led them to 10-1, and the Indy Bowl dissed them in favor of a 6-5 Vanderbilt team. As only the Indy Bowl can do.

Next week is BEAT TEXAS WEEK. No-one outside the state can imagine how big this is. Hogs must beat the Steers. It's a victory like no other.
